For Matt "Petko" Petkovich, music wasn’t a phase—it was a slow burn. After getting his start in the 90's garage band scene of East Central Illinois, Matt took a hiatus to raise a family and build a career. But music never stopped calling.

Today, performing under his lifelong nickname Petko, he brings a weathered, authentic perspective to the stage. Armed with just an acoustic guitar and a powerhouse voice, Petko delivers a high-energy mix of 90's and 00's rock staples, peppered with unexpected pop covers and soul-baring originals. From the pubs of Northern Michigan, through backyard parties in Northwest Indiana, to the stages of Northwest Illinois, Petko proves that while life may take you on a detour, the music always finds its way home.
